After two lay-offs in ten months, Russ Knight knows how challenging that time can be. He is now an Energy Management Consultant to large users of power, mainly in the Central United States. Equally important, he has also co-founded and helps direct Overcoming Job Transitions – a ministry sponsored by two large United Methodist churches.
Over the past three years, Russ and his team have assisted over 1,000 job seekers.
Alan and Russ discuss how to immediately improve your resume, how to use LinkedIn more effectively in your search, what are the key mistakes most job seekers make, and, finally, how to start a job support ministry in your local church.
